F&N Sparkling Firesparkler Contest Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions shall apply to the F&N Sparkling Firesparkler Contest ("Contest").
Please read the terms carefully if you ("the Participant") are interested in participating.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to participants residing in Singapore only.
Employees (and their immediate families) of F&N Interflavine Pte Ltd and F&N Foods Pte Ltd ("the Company"), their advertising and design agencies, distributors and Contest partners are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
DETAILS FOR THE CONTEST
The Contest starts from 10:00am, 5 January 2017 and ends on 11:59pm, 23 January 2017 ("Contest Period").
To enter the Contest, Participants need to log on to http://fnnfoods.com/cny2017/ ("Contest Website)" to play and complete the Firesparkler game ("Entry").
To play:
Participants will need to tap on the fizzy bubbles to collect the greetings. Each greeting will grant the Participants 20 points.
However, Participants will need to avoid the 'X' bubbles. A tap on one (1) 'X' bubble will deduct 10 points from the Participants' overall score.
Participants are encouraged to play on their mobile devices with the help of their friends.
Participants are required to collect 888 points or above within the limited time in order to be eligible to win the Gift ("Qualifying Entry").
Each Participant is allowed to play and submit multiple Entries. However, each Participant is only eligible to win one (1) Gift according to their NRIC.
There will be a total of 50 Winners for this Contest.
The Winners will be selected from all Qualifying Entries by the Company at the end of the contest according to the following criteria:
The Qualifying Entry that's closest to the first and each subsequent 2% (up to 100%) of the total number of Qualifying Entries will be chosen as the Winner.
For instance, if there is a total of 1000 Qualifying Entries, the 20th, 40th, 60th, 80th, 100th, 120th, 140th, 160th, 180th, 200th, 220th, 240th, 260th, 280th, 300th, 320th, 340th, 360th, 380th, 400th, 420th, 440th, 460th, 480th, 500th, 520th, 540th, 560th, 580th, 600th, 620th, 640th, 660th, 680th, 700th, 720th, 740th, 760th, 780th, 800th, 820th, 840th, 860th, 880th, 900th, 920th, 940th, 960th, 980th, 1000th Qualifying Entries will be selected as winners.
If a decimal number is derived from the above formula, it will be rounded down to the lower whole number and the winning submission will be selected accordingly.
If more than one winning entry is submitted by the same person, the latter winning entries will be disqualified and the next earliest Qualifying Entries submitted by a different person will be selected as the new winning entries.
The Company reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to select the Winners of this Contest without any obligation to furnish any notice and/or reason.
All Winners will be notified via the email address submitted to the Contest Website ("Winner Announcement").
Winners will be notified via email for collection of personal details (Full Name, NRIC, Contact Number, Email Address, Mailing Address) and verification purposes. The details on collection of Gifts will also be communicated via email.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS REGARDING THE ENTIRE CONTEST
The Company reserves the right to refuse participation for any ineligible Participants.
Personal data of Participants will be collected as the company deems fit. The company shall reserve the names and particulars of the participants for their own internal usage only for this F&N Sparkling Firesparkler Contest.
The Company’s decision on all matters relating to the redemption process shall be final and binding. The Company shall not be obliged to enter into any correspondence concerning the Contest.
The Company reserves the right to disclose, publish and/or use the name and any other particulars of the Participants for promotional, publicity and other purposes in connection with the Contest as the Company deems fit. Each Participant irrevocably and unconditionally consents to such disclosure, publication and/or usage, and agrees to co-operate with the Company and participate in the activities organised by the Company for aforesaid purposes.
The Company reserves the right to withdraw, discontinue or terminate this Contest at any time at its absolute discretion, without notice or liability to any person.
The Company, its related corporations and/or employees shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising in connection with the Contest, including without limitation, any illegible entry forms, error in computing, any computer system or equipment breakdown, electronic malfunction or any notice which is misdirected or lost in the post.
The Company reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to exclude/disqualify any person from participating in this Contest without any obligation to furnish any notice and/or reason.
The Company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions as it deems fit.
GIFTS
Each Winner will win one (1) F&N Festive Hamper Pack that includes the following items:
Two (2) tins of cookies. Cookie flavours are given at random and cannot be pre-selected.
Six (6) packs of red packets (x 8 in each pack).
One (1) Festive pack.
All redeemed Gifts are non-transferable, not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item and shall be subject to such terms and conditions which the Company and/or the relevant vendor, merchant or supplier of the goods or services may at its/their sole and absolute discretion impose. The Winner agrees to abide by those terms and conditions.
The Company may, in its sole and absolute discretion, vary, modify, exchange or substitute any Gift or any term or particulars of any Gift without liability to furnish any reason and/or notice to any person.
The Company and/or the relevant vendor, merchant or supplier of the goods or services shall determine the color, style, any fittings, fixtures, packaging, accessories and/or form of the Gifts, as appropriate. The Winner shall accept the Gift “as is” and the Company shall be under no obligation to entertain any request by the Winner to change any aspect of the Gift. The Company makes no representation or warranty whatsoever as to the quality or fitness for purpose or any other implied terms and conditions with respect to the Gift awarded in the Contest, and the Company shall not be held liable for any loss, cost or damage to any person resulting or arising from any of this Contest’s Gifts or the use of it.
The Company shall notify the Winners of the location where the relevant Gift is to be claimed. Winners will have to produce their NRIC and the original Letter of Notification issued by the Company to collect the Gift. Without any liability on the part of the Company, any unclaimed Gift within the given period will be donated to any charitable organization as determined solely by the Company. Any Winner whose Gift has been so forfeited shall not be entitled to any compensation notwithstanding non-receipt by him/her of any notification.
AMENDMENTS
The Company reserves the right to vary, delete or add to these terms and conditions at any time in its absolute discretion without notice or liability to the participants of the Contest or any other person.
DECISION OF COMPANY FINAL
The Company’s decision on all matters relating to the Contest or the interpretation or implementation of these terms and conditions and the selection of Winners shall be final and binding on all participants. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Contest, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
THIRD PARTY RIGHTS
A person who is not a Participant or a party to the Contest has no right to enforce any provision of these terms and conditions.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore.
